Add Your First Account

This quick guide explains how to add a sample account to the 2FA-Authenticator Extension.

Prerequisites

Install the 2FA-Authenticator Extension (Chrome).

Once you install the 2FA-Authenticator Extension in Chrome, you can pin its icon to the toolbar.

Scanning a QR Code

  • Click on the 2FA-Authenticator Extension icon in your browser.

  • Then, click on the Scan QR Code icon in the top-right corner of the window.

  • Click and drag to draw a square that fully covers the QR code.

  • After adding the new account, you will be able to see it in the application.

  • You can also add new accounts through the Add Account option at the bottom of the window.
